Seventeen unauthorised constructions were demolished across three zones of Hyderabad on Wednesday, September 9, as the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation continued an enforcement drive against illegal structures, according to CMC officials cited by Deccan Chronicle.
The demolitions followed field inspections during which municipal teams identified 19 unauthorised constructions. Action was subsequently taken against 17 of the structures in accordance with the prescribed enforcement procedure.
Six demolitions were carried out in the Quthbullapur Zone, another six in the Kukatpally Zone and five in the Serilingampally Zone. The municipal corporation did not provide further details in the report about the locations, types or ownership of the structures.
