The Andhra Pradesh government will host the 31st CII Partnership Summit 2026 in Visakhapatnam on November 12 and 13, with about 1,250 participants expected to attend discussions on global investment, trade, technology and sustainable growth.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reviewed preparations for the two-day summit with officials and CII Director General Chandrajit Banerjee. The summit will bring together representatives from approximately 59 countries, including 15 foreign ministers, more than 40 international speakers, 350 foreign delegates and 900 Indian delegates, according to the information reviewed by the government.
The summit is themed ‘Navigating New World Order: Trade, Technology, Trust’. The state government said its objective is to position Andhra Pradesh as a hub for global investments, international trade and technological partnerships, while connecting industries in the state with international markets.
During the review, Naidu said the summit should bring policymakers, investors, industries, educational institutions and startups together. He said the discussions should result in business and technology partnerships and create new opportunities for micro, small and medium enterprises in Andhra Pradesh.
The Chief Minister also called for wider promotion of investment opportunities in green energy, technology and semiconductor sectors. He said the state should highlight policies including the payment of industrial incentives through escrow accounts and its Speed of Doing Business initiative.
Around 400 business-to-business meetings are planned as part of the summit. Business-to-government meetings will also be held to enable consultations between industries and governments. Representatives from Singapore, Nepal, Cambodia, Myanmar, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, the Slovak Republic, Mauritius, Mozambique, Egypt, Algeria, Tanzania and Guatemala are expected to participate.
Ambassadors from several countries and representatives of the World Food Programme, the Asian Development Bank and the United Nations Environment Programme are also expected to attend. The participation will place Visakhapatnam at the centre of a state-led effort to attract investment and build international partnerships.
The summit’s six identified themes are trade, investments and global value chains; trust, geo-economics and global cooperation; agriculture, food security and the bio-based economy; talent, skills and international employment opportunities; technology, innovation and future industries; and clean energy and sustainable growth.
The government said the discussions are intended to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s links with global markets and support opportunities for local industries, young professionals and startups. The summit will take place in Visakhapatnam on November 12 and 13, with the scheduled B2B and B2G meetings forming a central part of the programme.
