Bosch Boosts Indian Logistics with New Platform

Bosch Limited has launched its cloud-powered platform, Supply Chain Studio. The unveiling, which took place at the company’s inaugural Mobility Platform and Solutions (MPS) Summit 2025 in Bengaluru.

marks a significant leap towards streamlining logistics operations through digital innovation.Aiming to eliminate manual bottlenecks and enhance real-time visibility, Bosch’s Supply Chain Studio promises to integrate the diverse sectors of transport booking, warehouse management, and B2B commerce under one comprehensive digital ecosystem. “We are excited to foster digitalisation across India’s supply chains by uniting manufacturers, transporters, warehouse operators, and distributors on a single platform,” said Sandeep Nelamangala, Joint Managing Director of Bosch Limited and President of Bosch Mobility India.Designed with inputs aligned to the Government’s Gati Shakti National Master Plan for multimodal logistics, the platform brings together five crucial modules: Transport Booking and Management, Warehouse Booking, Smart Warehouse operations, Bay and Yard Management for scheduling, and an e-Distributor module facilitating seamless B2B transactions. Bosch has ensured that Supply Chain Studio integrates seamlessly with enterprise resource planning systems such as Tally, along with third-party marketplaces, positioning it as a ready-to-deploy solution in India’s bustling trade corridors.

The German technology major also announced the ARC Partner Program (Accelerate, Rise, Collaborate), aiming to drive co-innovation in logistics, electric mobility, warehouse technology, and parking solutions. This strategic move underlines Bosch’s commitment to fostering a sustainable, technology-first logistics ecosystem in India — an urgent need for a country striving to meet ambitious net-zero goals and build resilient, eco-friendly cities.
Bosch’s deep-rooted engagement in India adds weight to this initiative. Operating since 1951, Bosch currently runs 17 manufacturing plants and seven development centres across the country, employing nearly 40,000 people. The company’s Indian operations achieved consolidated sales of approximately ₹37,912 crores (€4.2 billion) in FY 2023-24, demonstrating the growing importance of India in Bosch’s global portfolio.

Globally, Bosch reported preliminary sales of €90.5 billion for 2024 and continues to strengthen its foothold across four key sectors: Mobility, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. With its unique governance model, wherein 94 percent of Bosch’s share capital is held by Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH — a charitable foundation — the company retains a sharp focus on making long-term, socially impactful investments. At a time when India’s logistics sector, contributing nearly 14 percent to the national GDP, remains highly fragmented and inefficient, Bosch’s Supply Chain Studio could prove transformational. As cities increasingly demand sustainable, tech-driven urban solutions, the platform’s focus on real-time visibility, efficiency, and digital integration resonates strongly with India’s broader aspirations of building greener, equitable, and technology-empowered cities.
