Bengaluru Airport Launches Care by BLR Passenger Services

BENGALURU | September 3, 2026 — Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru has launched ‘Care by BLR’, a passenger-services brand offering 10 services across arrivals, departures, transfers, baggage handling and other stages of the airport journey.

The services are available at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and are designed to provide assistance and convenience based on individual passenger requirements. According to the airport announcement reported by Prajavani, the services operate around the clock in line with flight schedules.

Passengers can book the services through the BLR Pulse app, the airport’s official website at bengaluruairport.com/carebyblr and airport counters. Advance booking has been recommended. Walk-in access will depend on operational availability. Trained customer-service assistants will provide support through a central passenger contact point at the airport.

The Care by BLR offering includes a meet-and-assist service covering key points from the kerbside to check-in, security screening, immigration and baggage collection. A chauffeur-driven limousine service will connect the airport with Bengaluru, with premium vehicles including BMW cars available under the offering.

Passengers can also arrange flower and bouquet services to welcome, surprise or bid farewell to travellers. The Care by BLR lounge at Terminal 1 will be open to passengers and non-travelling guests, with refreshments and a meeting room intended for business discussions.

The airport has also introduced baggage storage for passengers who want to travel around Bengaluru without carrying their luggage or manage long layovers more easily. Valet parking will allow passengers to hand over their vehicles at the kerbside before proceeding directly to the terminal.

Other services include trained and uniformed porter assistance at important arrival and departure points, professional baggage wrapping, and a car spa offering exterior and interior vehicle-care services while passengers are travelling.

The tenth service, described as airside limousine and facilitation, is intended to provide coordinated movement between aircraft and terminal areas for VIP, VVIP, business, celebrity and passengers requiring special assistance. Its availability will be subject to operational and security requirements.

The airport said the services form part of its wider passenger-experience ecosystem, bringing together hospitality, commercial and digital experiences. The offering is expected to expand as passenger requirements change. Airside facilitation and other services will remain subject to airport operations and applicable security conditions.
