Despite a prior legal intercession granting temporary reprieve, the resumption of normal operations was short-lived. Revenue authorities of the BBMP underscored the mall’s failure to fulfil its financial obligations, specifically in property tax, prompting the civic body to serve a stern closure notice. Concurrently, the management was directed to cease operations forthwith, further compounded by the suspension of trade licenses until further directives.
