The Andhra Pradesh Election Commission has begun the process of finalising polling stations for the upcoming Mandal Praja Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) and Zilla Praja Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC) elections, with the final list scheduled for publication on September 19.
Vijayawada | September 9, 2026 — The election process will begin with the display of the photo voter list for the MPTC and ZPTC elections on September 11. The draft list of polling stations will be prepared on September 14 and published the following day, according to the schedule released by the Andhra Pradesh Election Commission.
The commission will accept objections to the draft polling station list on September 15 and 16. This stage will allow stakeholders to raise concerns before the locations are finalised.
Election Commission officials are also scheduled to meet representatives of political parties on September 16 to discuss the proposed polling stations. The consultations will take place after the draft list has been made public and during the period when objections are being accepted.
District collectors will give their approval to the polling stations on September 18. The final list of polling stations for the ZPTC and MPTC elections will then be published on September 19.
The schedule establishes the administrative sequence for finalising polling locations, from displaying the voter list and preparing the draft stations to considering objections, consulting political parties and obtaining district-level approval. The commission has not announced the polling dates in the information available in the release.
The next scheduled milestone is the display of the photo voter list on September 11, followed by preparation of the draft polling station list on September 14.
