The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) has initiated the next stage of planning for Ahmedabad Metro Phase 3B by inviting bids for geotechnical investigations, signalling continued progress towards expanding the city’s rapid transit network and supporting long-term urban mobility.

The tender seeks agencies to conduct detailed soil and subsurface investigations along the proposed Phase 3B alignment. These studies will provide critical engineering data required for designing foundations, elevated structures and stations before construction begins.
