A major land recovery operation in Viramgam has unlocked a critical stretch for a four-lane highway project, marking a significant step in efforts to improve regional mobility and reduce congestion along one of western Gujarat’s important transport corridors.
The clearance exercise took place along a section of State Highway 17 near the entrance to Viramgam, where authorities removed structures and encroachments occupying land required for the expansion of the Viramgam–Surendranagar–Wadhwan road corridor.
