The exercise simulated the discovery of a suspicious explosive device during baggage screening, prompting the activation of established emergency protocols. Security personnel secured the affected area, initiated passenger evacuation procedures, assessed the potential threat and deployed specialised bomb disposal equipment to neutralise the simulated risk in accordance with standard operating procedures. Airport security experts consider such exercises essential for maintaining preparedness against evolving aviation security challenges.
