MSRTC Launches Special Tours To Maharashtras Spiritual And Historic Sites

The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has announced the launch of four new special bus tours commencing this July. These meticulously planned tours promise comfortable travel in semi-luxury “Nim-Aaram” buses to some of the state’s most revered religious sites and historic landmarks. The newly unveiled services specifically cater to pilgrims, history enthusiasts, and weekend travelers seeking a curated travel experience without the complexities of arranging private transport. This initiative aims to bolster regional tourism and provide convenient, organized access to Maharashtra’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.

Among the spiritual journeys introduced is the “Five Jyotirlinga Darshan Tour,” a three-day pilgrimage scheduled from July 19 to 21, encompassing Bhimashankar, Grishneshwar, Trimbakeshwar, Parli Vaijnath, and Aundha Nagnath. Devotees can also opt for the “Akkalkot–Gangapur Tour,” a two-day trip from July 22 to 23, covering the revered sites of Swami Samarth of Akkalkot, Sri Narasimha Saraswati of Gangapur, and the sacred Tuljapur temple. Additionally, the “Ashtavinayak Darshan Yatra,” a two-day pilgrimage from July 25 to 26, offers a complete experience of eight iconic Ganesh temples, providing unparalleled convenience for pilgrims.

For history enthusiasts, the “Raigad Fort Heritage Tour” is a special one-day excursion slated for July 30. This tour offers an immersive glimpse into Maharashtra’s proud Maratha legacy by visiting Raigad Fort, once the formidable capital of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s empire. All these tours will be conducted using MSRTC’s semi-luxury Nim-Aaram buses, ensuring travelers a relaxed and comfortable ride throughout their journey. Bookings can be conveniently made at the Swargate bus depot in Pune or through the official MSRTC website, where comprehensive details including pricing and detailed itineraries will be accessible.

These MSRTC initiatives significantly enhance regional connectivity and promote Maharashtra’s diverse cultural and spiritual heritage. By offering comfortable, organized tours, the state transport body supports tourism, fosters economic development in rural and historic areas, and provides sustainable travel options for residents and visitors alike, reinforcing Maharashtra’s appeal as a premier destination.
