The newly flagged off 315 MVA rating transformer stands out as the largest of its kind in India, both in terms of its kilovolt kV class and megavolt ampere MVA rating. A key innovation lies in its use of synthetic ester fluid, which boasts a high flash point of 330°C, drastically reducing fire hazards within the transformer. This cutting edge transformer was entirely developed and manufactured at Hitachi Energys state of the art power transformers facility located in Maneja, Vadodara.
