The Delhi Development Authority’s DDA Khushhaal Pariwaar Yojana 2026 has opened registrations for middle-income group flats across Narela, Lok Nayak Puram and Jahangirpuri, with booking scheduled to begin on November 16. However, the scheme details reported by Live Hindustan contain conflicting figures on the total number of flats and their prices, making the DDA’s official notification or brochure important for applicants before they commit funds.
According to the report, registrations began on November 6 through the DDA Awaas portal at eservices.dda.org.in. Applicants booking a flat will have to pay a booking amount of Rs 4 lakh, apart from a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2,500. Applicants who have already registered on the portal will not need to register again, the report said.
The scheme is intended to provide housing for the middle-income group. The supplied report says the flats are located in three Delhi areas: Narela, Lok Nayak Puram and Jahangirpuri. It gives the largest allocation to Narela, where 296 flats in pockets 1B and 1C of sectors A1 to A4 are listed. These units are described as measuring approximately 114.05 square metres to 114.69 square metres, with prices ranging from Rs 67.03 lakh to Rs 67.41 lakh.
The report lists 132 flats in Lok Nayak Puram, with sizes of approximately 134.25 square metres to 140.45 square metres. Their stated prices range from Rs 1.14 crore to Rs 1.19 crore. Jahangirpuri is listed with 17 flats measuring between 64.04 square metres and 99.73 square metres, priced between Rs 93.42 lakh and Rs 1.13 crore.
The location-wise figures require clarification. The report initially describes the scheme as offering 445 MIG flats, while its summary refers to 446 flats. The detailed allocation of 296 flats in Narela, 132 in Lok Nayak Puram and 17 in Jahangirpuri adds up to 445. Elsewhere, however, Lok Nayak Puram is described as having 133 flats, which would take the total to 446. The report also gives an initial overall price range of Rs 43 lakh to Rs 1.1 crore, while its detailed listing places the prices between Rs 67.03 lakh and Rs 1.19 crore.
The report attributes the scheme details to a DDA official notification and says that the remaining conditions will follow the brochure for the DDA Awaas Investment Scheme 2026. It also states that prospective buyers can inspect sample flats at the sites. The reported prices are provisional and may change according to the actual plinth area of each flat, with demand letters to be issued on the basis of the final measured area.
For applicants, the immediate issue is therefore not only the booking amount or the opening date but also the final inventory and price schedule. The DDA’s official portal, notification and brochure will need to establish whether the scheme contains 445 or 446 flats, confirm the Lok Nayak Puram allocation and explain the difference between the headline and detailed price ranges before booking begins on November 16.
