The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the written examination schedule for 255 posts under the Directorate of Municipal Administration, Employees’ State Insurance and the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society’s Kalyana Karnataka cadre.
According to KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, examinations for the notified posts will be held on November 6, November 7 and November 14. The tests will include subject-specific papers and a general knowledge paper.
The subject-specific examination for Electrician Grade 1 and Electrician Grade 2 posts under the Directorate of Municipal Administration will be held on November 6. The recruitment covers three Electrician Grade 1 posts and five Electrician Grade 2 posts.
On November 7, KEA will conduct the subject-specific examination for 11 Pharmacy Officer posts under the Employees’ State Insurance department. The same day will also see the subject-specific examination for Nursing Officer posts under the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society, comprising 23 posts and a separate set of 11 Nursing Officer posts.
The subject-specific examination for 122 Water Supply Operator posts and 80 Assistant Water Supply Operator posts under the Directorate of Municipal Administration will be held on November 14. These two categories account for 202 of the 255 posts covered by the schedule and are the largest component of the recruitment exercise.
KEA has also stated that the general knowledge examination for all the listed posts will be conducted after noon on November 14. Candidates applying for the different categories will therefore have to follow both the subject-specific examination schedule and the common general knowledge examination schedule announced by the authority.
The recruitment includes technical positions linked to municipal water-supply operations as well as electrical, pharmacy and nursing roles across the participating departments and institutions. The announcement provides candidates with the dates for planning their examination participation, while the authority’s notification remains the reference point for detailed examination instructions and candidate-specific requirements.
The schedule was announced by KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna. The examinations will proceed on the three dates specified by the authority, with the general knowledge paper for all the listed posts scheduled after noon on November 14.
