Vedaanta Senior Living has launched Vedaanta Dakshin, a ₹40-crore senior living community in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, with 179 homes planned across 12.9 acres. The Bengaluru-based company said the multi-phase development will combine private residences with shared spaces designed around social interaction, comfort and access to support.
The project includes homes ranging from 967 to 1,200 sq. ft., Premium Villas measuring between 1,500 and 1,800 sq. ft., and Signature Villas ranging from 2,100 to 2,400 sq. ft. Prices start at ₹50 lakh, according to a company statement.
Vedaanta Senior Living said the development is intended to give older residents greater space and privacy while creating opportunities for community participation. The company has positioned the project around independent living, relationships among residents and support when required.
“Our aim is to create an environment where seniors can enjoy independence, build relationships and access support when they need it,” Shreya Anand, Director, Vedaanta Senior Living, said in the statement.
The development’s common facilities include a 9,000 sq. ft. clubhouse, an extended clubhouse verandah, central courtyards, shaded gathering areas and a garden pavilion. The company said these spaces will support community events, celebrations and shared activities among residents.
The community-focused design is a central feature of the project. Vedaanta said its Community pillar will create opportunities for residents to connect and participate in shared experiences, rather than treating the development only as a collection of individual homes.
The project is being developed in multiple phases, although the company statement did not specify the construction or handover timeline for each phase. It also did not provide details on the number of homes in each unit category or the services that will be available to residents who require additional support.
Vedaanta Dakshin adds a senior-focused housing development to Trichy’s real estate market. Its stated offering combines private residential units, larger villa formats and shared amenities within a single 12.9-acre site. The project’s final delivery schedule and operational details remain subject to further announcements from the company.
