TGH-Onco Life Cancer Centre in Talegaon-Dabhade has become the first hospital in the state to introduce Tomotherapy Synchrony technology under the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY). Currently, MJPJAY is implemented in conjunction with the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) across Maharashtra. Under this initiative, TGH-Onco Life Cancer Centre will provide free cancer treatment to eligible individuals holding yellow, orange, or white ration cards. With this initiative, patients in need will now have access to cancer treatment within the district, rather than having to travel to larger cities like Pune or Mumbai.
