Khajaguda traffic diversions will remain in force for 60 days from September 26 as water pipeline works disrupt movement at Khajaguda Junction and nearby connecting roads, the Cyberabad police have announced.
The restrictions will affect traffic on the service road and the free-left movement from KIMS Hospital towards Nanakramguda Road. Right-turn movement from the Biodiversity side towards Nanakramguda Road will also be affected during the work period.
Traffic travelling from Shaikpet Flyover towards Khajaguda has been advised to use Timberlake Colony Road, proceed before KIMS Hospital and join Nanakramguda Road. Vehicles coming from beneath Shaikpet Flyover can use High-Tension Road as an alternative route.
Motorists travelling from Gachibowli and Biodiversity Level-1 Flyover can take the Pakwan U-Turn, proceed via Khajaguda Lake Road and reach Khajaguda. These diversions are intended to keep traffic moving while the pipeline works are carried out.
The police have warned that congestion is likely in and around Khajaguda Junction during the 60-day period. The affected routes connect Shaikpet, Gachibowli, Biodiversity Junction and Nanakramguda, making the junction a key movement point for traffic travelling between these areas.
Commuters have been advised to plan their journeys in advance, allow additional travel time and use the designated alternative routes from September 26. The diversions will remain in place for 60 days, according to the traffic advisory issued by the Cyberabad police.
