Hyderabad will host the 25th CII Energy Efficiency Summit from September 16 to 18, bringing together 3,500 delegates, 150 speakers and more than 110 exhibitors to discuss energy efficiency, clean technologies and sustainable practices across 20 industry sectors.
The Confederation of Indian Industry will organise the summit at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre as a flagship event of the CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre, which is based in Hyderabad. The event is being held under the theme “Accelerating the transition to a Net Zero economy through energy efficiency, clean technologies, and sustainable practices”.
The three-day programme will include discussions covering 20 industry sectors and three sector-focused conferences. The organisers have positioned the summit as India’s largest conference on energy efficiency, with the programme bringing together industry participants and speakers around technologies and practices aimed at reducing energy use and supporting lower-carbon operations.
The exhibition component will feature more than 110 exhibitors showcasing technologies and solutions related to energy efficiency, clean technology and sustainable practices. A dedicated pavilion will focus on low-carbon technology innovations, providing a specific platform for solutions associated with the transition to lower-emission economic activity.
The summit will also host the 27th CII National Award for Excellence in Energy Management. The awards will recognise more than 300 companies and individuals for their reported commitment to sustainable energy practices. The recognition programme forms part of the summit’s wider focus on energy management and the adoption of cleaner technologies across industry.
By bringing together delegates, speakers, exhibitors and participants from multiple sectors, the event will place energy efficiency within a broad industrial and sustainability agenda.
