DK Vertex has announced a ₹300 crore expansion plan to develop more than 30 convention centres across 10 Indian cities, including emerging business and industrial locations beyond the country’s major metropolitan areas.
The company, a part of US-headquartered Vertex Group, said the expansion will create a network with a combined capacity of about 50,000 seats. The announcement was made by Vertex Group Founder and President Gagan Arora following the inauguration of the DK Vertex Convention Centre at Udyog Vihar in Gurugram.
“With a ₹300 crore investment plan to expand to more than 30 centres across 10 cities with 50,000 seats, we see this convention centre as part of a much larger journey to build an integrated ecosystem of spaces that respond to how modern businesses operate,” Arora said, according to the company.
The company has identified Jaipur, Mohali, Indore and Visakhapatnam as upcoming locations. Arora said the timing and scale of the rollout would depend on market demand, project feasibility and the availability of suitable business infrastructure in each city.
The expansion plan places convention and events venues within DK Vertex’s wider business-spaces portfolio. Arora said the company expects this segment to grow by approximately two times annually over the next three years and contribute about 70 per cent of DK Vertex’s overall business during that period.
The newly inaugurated Gurugram facility has been developed in association with MSME Business Forum India. Spread across 12,000 square feet, the centre includes a main hall with capacity for approximately 300 to 400 guests. It is located on the Delhi-Gurugram business corridor and is designed for conferences, exhibitions, corporate engagements and business meetings.
Simar Arora, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of DK Vertex, said the facility would strengthen the company’s integrated business infrastructure proposition by providing a platform for enterprises, micro, small and medium enterprises, and global delegations to connect and collaborate.
Ravi Nandan Sinha, Director of MSME Business Forum India, said the partnership had grown from the forum’s work through MSME Manager, a special purpose vehicle intended to support and simplify aspects of doing business for India’s MSMEs. He described the convention centre as a platform for business engagement, collaboration and international partnerships.
The proposed locations reflect the company’s effort to take organised conference and exhibition infrastructure beyond the largest metropolitan markets. The company has not disclosed city-wise investment allocations, construction schedules or commissioning dates for the planned centres. The rollout will proceed subject to demand assessments, feasibility studies and the availability of appropriate business infrastructure.
