The development would add to the city’s expanding cinema infrastructure and could strengthen its position as a major entertainment market in the Telugu-speaking region.
The proposed screen is linked to a large commercial development planned in Hakimpet, where construction activity and preliminary promotional material have indicated the inclusion of an IMAX facility. If completed, it would add another large-format screen to Hyderabad’s evolving entertainment landscape. The development comes as the city’s multiplex market continues to expand beyond traditional high-footfall areas. New entertainment destinations are increasingly being integrated with shopping, dining and other leisure activities, creating larger mixed-use spaces designed around extended consumer visits.
