Ahmedabad is poised to become part of a major airport-led urban development programme as Adani Airport Holdings announced plans to invest in integrated airport city projects across six airports in India. The initiative positions aviation infrastructure as a catalyst for economic activity, commercial growth and sustainable urban development beyond traditional passenger services.
The first phase of the programme will involve investments exceeding ₹20,000 crore across airport-linked developments in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Lucknow, Jaipur and Guwahati.
