The introduction of this special Tejas Superfast train service not only addresses the immediate need for increased transport capacity during the peak summer travel period but also reflects Western Railway’s ongoing commitment to enhancing inter-state connectivity and promoting sustainable modes of transportation. By offering a comfortable, efficient, and relatively eco-friendly alternative to road travel, this initiative contributes to reducing carbon emissions associated with individual vehicle usage. Furthermore, improved rail connectivity fosters economic growth and strengthens social ties between the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat, benefiting both business travellers and leisure tourists.
