VIP Speakers Confirmed for Aviation India 2025 Summit
Vipin Kumar, Chairman of the Airports Authority of India (AAI), and Salil Gupte, President of Boeing India and South Asia, are among the top aviation leaders confirmed as keynote speakers at Aviation India 2025, set to take place in Delhi.
The high-level summit, organised by Times Aerospace Events, will focus on the theme “Shaping the pathway for Indian aviation”, and aims to unite industry leaders from across India and South Asia to discuss transformative strategies, infrastructure expansion and sustainable aviation. Kumar will speak on India’s evolving air and ground infrastructure and how AAI is aligning with the Government’s Vision 2047 to build an efficient and future-ready airport network. AAI, which celebrated its 30th anniversary on April 2, manages over 100 airports and is pivotal in India’s aviation-led economic growth.
Highlighting the role of public infrastructure, Kumar said, “India’s civil aviation sector is becoming a key engine of economic expansion, with increasing passenger traffic and ongoing infrastructure development positioning us as the world’s third-largest domestic market.” Meanwhile, Gupte will highlight Boeing India’s role across commercial and defence aerospace, and how the company is contributing to India’s sustainable aviation ambitions. Boeing, a long-time partner in India’s aerospace ecosystem, now sources $1.25 billion annually from over 300 Indian suppliers and directly employs 7,000 people, with 13,000 more engaged across its supply chain.
“Aviation India 2025 will serve as a crucial platform to shape the future of the industry at a time when India’s aviation ecosystem is accelerating at record pace,” said Mark Brown, Managing Director, Times Aerospace Events. The summit builds on the successful Times Aerospace model used in its Africa editions, previously hosted in countries like Rwanda, Egypt and Nigeria.
