Graduates seeking enrolment as voters in the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad Telangana Legislative Council constituencies have until November 6 to submit their applications, according to Telangana Today.
Applicants can enrol online through the Telangana Chief Electoral Officer’s website, ceotelangana.nic.in. They can also submit Form 18 in person to Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, designated officers or additional designated officers.
Applicants are required to submit the necessary documents and certificates along with their applications. The enrolment process is specifically for the graduates’ constituencies, where voter registration follows the electoral roll procedure prescribed for Legislative Council elections.
The next stage of the process will begin on November 25, when the draft electoral rolls are scheduled to be published. Claims and objections to the draft rolls can be filed from November 25 to December 10.
The final electoral rolls for the two constituencies are scheduled to be published on December 30. The dates provide applicants and other stakeholders with a defined window to check the draft lists and raise objections before the final rolls are issued.
