Special Trains Add Festive Relief on Hyderabad-Bengaluru Routes

Railway officials have announced special trains between Charlapalli and Bengaluru, and between Tirupati and Vijayapura, to handle higher passenger demand during the Dasara and Diwali festive season. The services will connect Hyderabad-region stations with major cities and pilgrimage, business and regional travel destinations across Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

The Charlapalli–Bengaluru Weekly Special Train, numbered 07065, will leave Charlapalli at 9.50 pm on October 5, 12, 19 and 26, and November 2, 9, 16, 23, 27 and 30. It is scheduled to reach Bengaluru at 1.15 pm the following day, according to railway officials.

The return Bengaluru–Charlapalli Weekly Special Train, numbered 07066, will depart from Bengaluru at 3.50 pm on October 6, 13, 20 and 27, and November 3, 10, 17 and 24. It will reach Charlapalli at 5.30 am the next day.

The service will pass through Secunderabad, Begumpet, Lingampalli, Vikarabad, Sedam, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur and Yelahanka. The station pattern places the special train on a corridor serving passengers from Hyderabad and surrounding areas travelling towards Bengaluru, while also providing intermediate connectivity across Telangana and Karnataka.

Railway officials have also announced a weekly special service between Tirupati and Vijayapura. The Tirupati–Vijayapura train, numbered 07419, will operate every Sunday from October 4 to October 25. It will leave Tirupati at 8.15 am and reach Vijayapura at 10.25 pm on the same day.

The return Vijayapura–Tirupati service, numbered 07420, will depart from Vijayapura at 11.35 pm on Sundays and arrive in Tirupati at 2.15 pm on Monday. Its route will include Renigunta, Koduru, Rajampet, Kadapa, Yerraguntla, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Ballari, Toranagallu, Hosapet, Koppal, Gadag, Hole Alur, Badami, Bagalkot, Almatti and Basavana Bagewadi Road.

The announcement adds temporary rail capacity during a period when passenger movement typically increases around major festivals. The railway schedule provides specific operating dates, departure times and intermediate stops for passengers planning journeys between the affected cities and stations. No separate information on fares, coach composition or reservation availability was included in the announcement reported by Deccan Chronicle.
