Pune Airport Terminal Expands Regional Air Capacity

Pune: The expanded terminal at Pune International Airport is reshaping the city’s aviation infrastructure by significantly increasing passenger handling capacity and modernising travel facilities. The upgrade is expected to improve operational efficiency, accommodate rising air traffic and strengthen Pune’s position as an important business, education and industrial hub in western India.

Operational since its inauguration in 2024, the new Pune airport terminal forms part of a broader strategy to prepare the city’s aviation infrastructure for sustained passenger growth.
