Hyderabad, August 21: Hyderabad is hosting a major industrial technology gathering as the ninth edition of the Hyderabad International Machine Tool & Engineering Expo (HIMTEX) 2026 gets underway at the HITEX Exhibition Centre. Running from August 20 to 24, the event is bringing manufacturers, technology providers and industrial buyers together around automation, robotics and advanced engineering, underscoring Telangana’s growing manufacturing ambitions.
The five-day exhibition features around 300 exhibitors and is expected to draw more than 20,000 visitors from across India, according to event information. The showcase covers machine tools, robotics, engineering equipment and industrial automation, giving businesses an opportunity to assess technologies that can improve production efficiency and modernise factory operations.
