The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has rolled out a new metro combi ticket for monthly pass holders in Hyderabad.
Priced affordably at ₹20 per journey, the initiative offers General Bus Ticket (GBT) and ordinary monthly pass users access to the city’s metro deluxe buses, known for their upgraded comfort and smoother rides. Targeted at thousands of daily commuters navigating Hyderabad’s congested roads, the metro combi ticket acts as a cost-effective travel upgrade rather than a replacement for existing passes. TGSRTC officials from the Greater Hyderabad Region stated that this move is a step towards flexible, seamless, and elevated commuting experiences in a rapidly growing urban landscape. The metro combi ticket allows passengers to avail themselves of metro deluxe services on a per-trip basis without requiring a separate full fare or a change in their existing pass structure. It is positioned as an optional top-up offering greater comfort on selected journeys. The ticket will be valid only for a single ride and can be conveniently purchased onboard from bus conductors.
