HYDERABAD: Hyderabad is set to strengthen its position as one of India’s leading aerospace manufacturing hubs with a proposed Hyderabad aerospace manufacturing plant that will focus on advanced superalloy production. The investment is expected to expand the city’s high-value industrial base while supporting the growing demand for specialised materials used in aerospace, defence and advanced engineering sectors.
Raghu Vamsi Aerospace has announced plans to establish a 50-acre integrated manufacturing facility in Hyderabad with a proposed investment of ₹600 crore. Commercial production at the plant is expected to begin in 2028 following the completion of construction and commissioning activities. The proposed facility will manufacture a range of specialised products, including superalloy round bars, wires, forgings, castings and tungsten carbide powders. These materials are widely used in industries that require components capable of operating under extreme temperatures and high-stress conditions, particularly aerospace engines, defence equipment and precision engineering applications. Industry experts note that the Hyderabad aerospace manufacturing plant reflects the growing shift towards domestic production of advanced materials, reducing dependence on imports while strengthening India’s industrial capabilities.
