Gautam Buddh Nagar Voter List Opens 30-Day Correction Window

Gautam Buddh Nagar’s draft voter list will be published on November 17, giving residents 30 days to add names, remove incorrect entries or seek corrections before the final electoral roll is released on January 4, 2027.

The revised schedule applies to the Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls for the district’s three Assembly constituencies, based on January 1, 2027, as the qualifying date. The change in dates was issued by the Election Commission, according to Pradeep Kumar Singh, Deputy Collector and in-charge Assistant District Election Officer for Gautam Buddh Nagar.

Under the revised programme, claims and objections can be submitted from November 17 to December 16, 2026. Residents whose names are missing from the draft roll can apply for inclusion during this period. Applications can also be made to remove entries or correct errors in voter details.

The district election administration has set December 28 as the deadline for disposing of claims and objections. The final electoral roll will then be published on January 4, 2027. The election department has asked residents to check their details in the draft list and report discrepancies within the prescribed period so that corrections can be completed before final publication.

The revision will take place alongside a reorganisation of polling arrangements in the district. The Election Commission has approved the district administration’s proposal covering polling stations and polling locations across Noida, Dadri and Jewar Assembly constituencies.

Gautam Buddh Nagar will now have 766 polling centres and 1,926 polling locations. Earlier, the district had 743 polling centres and 2,024 polling locations. The new arrangement increases the number of polling centres while reducing the total number of polling locations.

In Assembly constituency 61-Noida, 784 polling locations will operate across 234 polling centres. Constituency 62-Dadri will have 747 polling locations across 328 centres, while constituency 63-Jewar will have 395 polling locations across 204 centres.

According to the revised figures, 32 polling centres and 12 polling locations have been added across the district. At the same time, nine polling centres and 110 polling locations have been removed as part of the restructuring process. The administration has not provided further details in the supplied announcement on how individual polling locations will be reassigned.

The next immediate milestone is publication of the draft voter list on November 17. Residents will have until December 16 to submit claims and objections, followed by disposal of those submissions by December 28 and final publication of the electoral roll on January 4, 2027.
