A Mahindra Thar allegedly hit a motorcycle on Delhi’s Dwarka Expressway late on Saturday and fled the scene, injuring the rider and a pillion passenger, according to a report by Live Hindustan – NCR. The incident was captured by the dashcam of a car travelling behind the SUV.
The footage reportedly shows the Thar moving at speed before shifting towards the service lane on the left. The SUV then appears to cross several lanes while attempting to pass through a narrow gap. During the manoeuvre, it collided with the motorcycle and continued driving without stopping, the report said.
Both people on the motorcycle fell onto the road after the collision. According to the report, they were wearing helmets and suffered minor injuries. The supplied report does not identify the injured people or provide details of their medical treatment.
