In coming days, the TN state govt will beautify the stretch between the Kasimedu and Thiruvottriyur Bharati Nagar. Chennai would get a new beach getaway through this work. A senior planner from the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) would conduct a feasibility study. So soon there will be a change in the face of north Chennai.
Besides emerging beaches, Chennai has three main beaches: Marina, Elliots and Thiruvanmiyur. Some residents mentioned that the stretch between Kasinedu and Thiruvottriyur Bharati Nagar had not been used appropriately. There is now a need to beautify the stretch, which will benefit residents. The idea is to create something like Marina Beach in north Chennai.
