The latest inspection covered several key components of Chennai Metro Phase Two, including an automated train trial on the corridor linking Porur Bypass and Poonamallee Bypass. The visit also reviewed progress at major engineering works such as the Kathipara elevated structure and station developments that will form part of the city’s expanding rapid transit network.
