Bhopal Climate Update Clouds and Light Rainfall Offer Respite from Heatwave

Bhopal: On Thursday, Bhopal experienced overcast skies and light showers, offering a welcome respite from the scorching heat, although the city eagerly awaits more substantial pre-monsoon rains.

Officials from the meteorological department, Bhopal circle, attributed these weather changes to the influence of a western disturbance and a cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan. The day temperature in Bhopal was recorded at 37.0 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees below the normal mark. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach around 39 degrees Celsius, while night temperatures will hover around 26 degrees Celsius. Average wind speeds are forecasted to be approximately 15 km per hour.

Looking at the broader state forecast, meteorological officials issued a heat wave warning for regions including Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Satna, and Maihar districts. Additionally, warnings of thunderclaps and high-velocity winds were issued for areas like Chhindwara, Seoni, and Mandla, among others. In response to these weather conditions, residents are advised to stay informed and take necessary precautions, especially in districts prone to severe weather patterns.
