Bengaluru’s proposed revamp of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) is set to introduce dedicated bus and cycle lanes while repurposing spaces beneath flyovers into functional public areas, signalling a shift towards more integrated, people-centric urban infrastructure. The redevelopment plan envisions reallocating road space to prioritise high-capacity public transport and non-motorised mobility.
