The proposed transformation of Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road (ORR) is set to introduce smart bus stops, dedicated gig worker hubs and redesigned public spaces, signalling a shift towards more inclusive and commuter-oriented urban infrastructure. The redevelopment aims to improve mobility along one of the city’s busiest economic corridors while creating safer, more functional public spaces for commuters, workers and residents.
