An Anna University student has died after reportedly being diagnosed with scrub typhus, while another student is undergoing treatment for dengue and several hostel residents have reported fever, according to a report by DT Next. The deceased student, identified as final-year student Harish Kumar, was undergoing treatment at KMC Hospital. According to the report, Kumar had initially consulted doctors at the university’s campus hospital after developing a fever. He was prescribed medication there.
