Adani Airports’ Smart AI Launch To Deliver Real-Time Multilingual Assistance To Passengers

Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) has announced a partnership with AIonOS, a company under InterGlobe Enterprises, to implement a multilingual artificial intelligence (AI) solution designed to transform passenger support services across its network of airports. The move reflects the company’s growing commitment to digital innovation and inclusive travel experiences in India’s expanding aviation landscape.

The collaboration will see the deployment of AIonOS’s proprietary platform, IntelliMate, an advanced agentic AI system that enables real-time, multilingual interactions through voice, chat, web, and mobile interfaces. The AI-driven platform will function as a 24×7 intelligent concierge, providing travellers with instant information on flights, gates, baggage status, directions, and airport facilities in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, and key regional dialects. According to officials, the initiative aims to make airports under Adani’s management more accessible and responsive while enhancing efficiency in customer support operations. “This AI solution represents a major step towards delivering seamless, inclusive, and personalised journeys for passengers across our airports,” said a senior AAHL official. “We are moving beyond traditional service models by creating an intelligent, digital-first ecosystem designed for today’s connected travellers.”

The new technology will also integrate with AAHL’s in-house platforms such as Aviio, Adani OneApp, and Airport-in-a-Box, creating a connected digital environment that streamlines operations and improves user engagement. Industry experts note that such innovations could redefine the passenger experience in India, especially as airports handle growing traffic amid infrastructure constraints. A senior aviation analyst said that multilingual, AI-enabled assistance will be particularly beneficial for domestic travellers and those less familiar with English. “Airports are becoming smart cities in themselves,” the expert noted. “Introducing technology that is both intelligent and inclusive bridges the accessibility gap while improving operational efficiency.”

Adani Airports, India’s largest private airport operator, manages seven operational airports — including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Guwahati, Mangaluru, and Thiruvananthapuram — and is preparing to launch operations at the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport. The AI integration is part of the company’s broader digital transformation roadmap, which seeks to set new global benchmarks for sustainability, innovation, and customer experience in airport management. By blending advanced technology with human-centric design, Adani Airports’ latest initiative reinforces the company’s vision of building future-ready, smart, and inclusive aviation hubs for India’s growing urban population.
