In a significant step forward, The Circle: Founders Club (FC), a business
accelerator supported by Hunch Ventures, has joined hands with the Embassy of
Israel in India to introduce an initiative aimed at empowering early-stage
startups in the field of water technology.
Under this collaborative effort, the Israeli Embassy and Circle FC will work
together to scout and identify promising startups engaged in water technology.
Their aim is to facilitate the growth of these startups and promote innovations
that can address water-related issues in India. Selected startup founders will
have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive three-month accelerator
programme, which includes mentorship and networking prospects with experts
in water technology from both India and Israel.
This programme provides a promising opportunity for water tech startups to
innovate, collaborate, and create sustainable solutions. The programme’s key
feature involves leveraging expertise from Israel and India to tackle vital water
challenges of our time. This collaborative effort will drive positive change,
promote sustainable solutions, and contribute to shaping a more water-secure
future.
The collaboration is expected to bridge the gap between leading water
technologies and Indian companies, aiming to find domestic solutions that address India’s unique water challenges. Given India’s substantial population,
the collaboration aims to work collectively towards sustainability and water
security. The programme is set to facilitate a transfer of cutting-edge
technologies, encouraging Indian enterprises to adopt innovative solutions, with
the ultimate goal of ensuring a more water-secure future for the country.
