Meanwhile, Delhi is grappling with severe air quality, as the Air Quality Index (AQI) has soared to alarming levels. On Tuesday morning, areas like Anand Vihar recorded AQI levels of 465, placing Delhi in the “severe” category. This has prompted authorities to invoke emergency measures, urging residents to limit outdoor exposure and take health precautions. This pollution crisis is worsened by dense smog and reduced visibility, making it difficult for residents to carry on with daily activities. Hyderabad has also faced its coldest morning in five years, with temperatures dropping to 7°C. Several neighborhoods, including Ibrahimpatnam and Gachibowli, recorded temperatures well below normal. This cold wave has affected surrounding districts, pushing temperatures lower than expected, signaling a significant shift in the weather for the region. Lastly, Chennai is bracing for another round of heavy rainfall, as a low-pressure system intensifies in the Bay of Bengal.
