Mysuru City Corporation will hold a special e-Khata drive from November 5 to 7 for property owners who missed an earlier opportunity to apply because of missing documents or other reasons. Applications will be accepted at the civic body’s main office on Sayyaji Rao Road from 10am on each scheduled day.
The three-day drive will follow a zone-wise schedule. Applications from property owners linked to Zones 1, 2 and 3 will be accepted on November 5. Those from Zones 4, 5 and 6 can apply on November 6, while applicants from Zones 7, 8 and 9 will be accommodated on November 7.
The corporation has said applicants must appear at its main office with the prescribed application form and the required documents. Each application will carry a fee of ₹175. The notice does not list the documents required, so property owners will need to refer to the corporation’s prescribed application requirements before attending the drive.
The special initiative follows an earlier Praja Seva e-Khata drive conducted by the Mysuru City Corporation. The latest arrangement is intended to provide another opportunity to people who could not use that service because they lacked documents or were unable to complete the process for other reasons.
The corporation has also made preparations to issue e-Khata documents to eligible applicants on November 13. The stated distribution date applies to applications that meet the eligibility and documentation requirements. Applicants will therefore need to submit the prescribed form and supporting records during the zone-specific window for their application to be considered.
Municipal Commissioner M.K. Savitha urged property owners to use the special opportunity, according to a corporation announcement. The arrangement places the application process at the central municipal office rather than describing separate collection points for individual zones.
The zone-wise schedule is intended to organise submissions over the three days, but the announcement does not specify a daily closing time, an appointment system or the number of applications the corporation can process. Property owners seeking to use the drive will need to attend on the date assigned to their zone, pay the ₹175 application fee and submit the prescribed form with the required documents.
The Mysuru City Corporation’s next stated milestone is November 13, when e-Khata documents are scheduled to be issued to eligible applicants after the applications are processed.
