Navi Mumbai Airport Hotel Opens With 80 Rooms for Transit Travellers

Adani Airport Holdings has launched an 80-room transit hotel at Navi Mumbai International Airport, giving passengers with long layovers, early departures and late arrivals access to short-stay accommodation inside Terminal 1.

Called the Swirl Transit Hotel, the property is located across two floors on the arrivals level. It offers four-hour and overnight stays, shower facilities, dining and other hotel services within the airport environment. Room rates start at Rs 8,500, according to hotel booking websites.

The property is the first hotel built to serve Navi Mumbai International Airport. Its 80 rooms are divided into six categories: Superior Single, Superior Double, Superior Twin, Superior Accessible, Junior Suite and Executive Suite. Room sizes range from 130 sq ft to 410 sq ft.

Facilities include high-speed Wi-Fi, smart televisions, workstations, electronic safes, tea and coffee facilities, premium bed and bath linen, toiletries and in-room dining. Guests can also access express laundry, concierge assistance, 24-hour housekeeping, pick-up and drop services and wake-up calls.

The hotel has a 24-hour all-day dining restaurant with seating for 40 people. It also provides round-the-clock in-room dining, grab-and-go food options and a bar. The services are designed for travellers who need to rest, work or refresh without leaving the airport premises during an extended wait.

Suchit Bansal, chief executive officer for non-aero business at Adani Airport Holdings, said in a media release shared on October 6 that the Swirl Transit Hotel concept brings accommodation into the airport environment and gives travellers greater flexibility between flights. He said the company sees an opportunity to take the concept to other airports in its network.

The next planned location is Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati. Adani Airport Holdings said a 21-room property is planned on Level 3 of the arrivals area within the airport-secured zone of Terminal 2. The Guwahati hotel is expected to offer hourly and overnight stays, dining and hospitality services for transit passengers, arriving travellers, departing passengers with extended waiting periods and business travellers.

The Navi Mumbai launch comes as the airport expands its passenger operations. Navi Mumbai International Airport began commercial operations on December 25, 2025, and started international operations on July 29, 2026, with its first international flight to Abu Dhabi.

Adani Airport Holdings said the hotel is part of its broader focus on expanding non-aeronautical services across its airport network. These services create facilities beyond flight operations within airport premises, including hospitality, food and beverage and passenger convenience services.

Navi Mumbai International Airport is operated by Navi Mumbai International Airport, a public-private partnership between Adani Airport Holdings and the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra. The airport is designed to handle up to 90 million passengers annually once fully completed, with an initial capacity of 20 million passengers.

Adani Airport Holdings currently operates eight airports, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram and Navi Mumbai. The company’s next stated expansion of the transit-hotel concept is the planned Guwahati property.
