Urban Vault Expands with Major Bengaluru Office Lease

Urban Vault, a prominent player in the co-working sector, has secured a substantial lease of 100,000 square feet at Brigade Summit, a prime office project in Bengaluru. This strategic move is aimed at addressing the growing demand for managed workspaces from both domestic and international corporations.

Currently, Urban Vault’s portfolio encompasses over 2 million square feet, accommodating more than 30,000 desks across various locations. The newly acquired space in Whitefield, a key commercial and residential district in Bengaluru, will house over 2,000 desks. The per-seat cost at this facility is projected to start around ₹9,000 per month. This expansion underscores Urban Vault’s commitment to catering to the post-pandemic resurgence in demand for flexible office environments. The Whitefield area is renowned for its modern infrastructure and is home to numerous tech firms, shopping malls, and entertainment venues, making it an attractive location for businesses and professionals alike.

Amal Mishra, Co-founder and CEO of Urban Vault, highlighted the strategic importance of this new centre. He noted that Bengaluru remains a preferred destination for both global and domestic firms due to its pool of English-speaking tech professionals and the availability of prime office space at competitive rents. With multinational corporations increasingly establishing Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in Bengaluru, the demand for Grade A office spaces is expected to rise further. Urban Vault’s expansion plans also include new markets in Pune, Delhi-NCR, and Mumbai, reflecting its broader strategy to strengthen its presence across major Indian cities and drive growth in its portfolio. The company is actively exploring new leasing opportunities in these key markets to support its ambitious growth trajectory.
