The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced the auction of 100 retail shops located within the Bamandongri Housing Complex in Ulwe. This initiative, which is poised to attract considerable interest, is scheduled to commence with online registration on 30 August 2024.
The auction is part of CIDCO’s broader strategy to stimulate commercial activity and support small to medium-sized businesses in the rapidly growing Ulwe node. CIDCO’s move is particularly timely, coinciding with the Krishna Janmashtami festivities, a period renowned for auspicious beginnings. The auction offers a strategic opportunity for entrepreneurs and business owners aiming to establish or expand their presence in a burgeoning commercial hub.
According to CIDCO officials, the shops, situated in Plot No. 02, Sector-6, Ulwe, form part of a larger pool of 243 commercial units in the Bamandongri Housing Complex. The sale will be conducted via an e-auction and e-tender process, ensuring transparency and broad accessibility. The digital platform for registration is available through CIDCO’s official website. In addition to the commercial property auction, CIDCO is simultaneously launching a housing scheme on Krishna Janmashtami. This scheme will see the sale of 902 residential units across various complexes in Navi Mumbai.
The registration for these housing units will commence on 27 August 2024, with a computerized draw scheduled for 10 October 2024. Prospective buyers can access details and apply via CIDCO’s designated online portal. The dual launch of both commercial and residential properties underscores CIDCO’s commitment to fostering economic growth and providing a range of housing solutions. This approach not only caters to business interests but also addresses the housing needs of Navi Mumbai’s expanding population.
