NoBroker is targeting profitability within the next eight to 10 months after reporting revenue growth and a reduction in losses, co-founder and chief executive officer Amit Kumar Agarwal said in an interview with PTI. The Bengaluru-based proptech company operates across property rentals, buying and selling, society management and home-related services.
Agarwal said the company’s revenue crossed ₹1,000 crore in the latest fiscal year, although the final figures are still being audited. NoBroker’s reported revenue rose to ₹965 crore in 2024-25 from ₹888 crore in the preceding year, while losses declined by 25-30 per cent to about ₹300 crore, according to the company official.
“Our revenue has crossed ₹1,000 crore although the final numbers are still being audited. We continue making strong progress towards profitability,” Agarwal said. He attributed the reduction in losses to higher revenue and cost optimisation.
The company is currently prioritising profitability and is not seeking fresh funding from existing investors or planning an initial public offering, Agarwal said. The company could consider an IPO after it becomes profitable, he added.
NoBroker’s core business covers property listings for renting, buying and selling without charging customers traditional brokerage fees. The company also offers paid plans that provide customers with access to what it described as better leads. About half of its revenue comes from the core property business, while the remainder comes from Movers & Packers, home interiors, NoBrokerHood and home services, according to Agarwal.
The company is present in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and Delhi-NCR. Its NoBrokerHood society-management platform operates in 11 cities and serves more than 25,000 housing societies and 48 lakh families, the company said.
NoBroker said its additional business lines are becoming important growth engines as it expands beyond property listings. “Beyond our core real estate business, high-potential verticals such as Packers & Movers, NoBrokerHood, home services, and home interiors are becoming significant growth engines for us,” Agarwal said. “Our focus is to build these businesses at scale and evolve NoBroker into a much broader platform for our consumers’ real estate journey.”
The company became a unicorn in November 2021 after raising $210 million from investors including General Atlantic and Tiger Global at a valuation of $1 billion. It has raised $361 million so far, according to the company.
NoBroker was founded by Akhil Gupta, Amit Kumar Agarwal and Saurabh Garg. The company’s stated profitability target will depend on the audited financial results and the performance of its property, housing-society management and home-services businesses over the coming months.
