A scheduled power shutdown across parts of central Chennai and the western suburban corridor on June 2 is set to temporarily disrupt residential communities, commercial establishments and public services as electricity network maintenance work is carried out. According to electricity distribution authorities, supply will remain suspended between 9 am and 2 pm in sections of Annasalai and Thiruverkadu.
