Officials say the budget will help accelerate projects led by the state tourism development corporation while also enabling new partnerships with private stakeholders. Tourism remains a cornerstone of Goa’s economy, supporting thousands of jobs across hospitality, transport, retail and local services. Officials say more than 30 tourism-related projects under the state tourism development corporation are scheduled to be completed during the current financial year.
