The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) is set to roll out three significant plot schemes this month, targeting a diverse range of residential, commercial, group housing, and corporate projects. This strategic initiative aims to offer numerous opportunities for individuals and businesses to acquire plots for various purposes.
According to officials, Yeida will commence the launch with a medical devices park and individual residential plots scheme on 5th July. Following this, on 10th July, schemes for group housing and commercial projects will be unveiled. The final launch, scheduled for 20th July, will focus on utility plots.Yeida has set an ambitious revenue target of approximately ₹3,700 crore from the sale of these plots. “These three plot schemes will offer multiple options to people from different walks of life. Whether someone wants to build a house, open a hospital, hotel, or invest in group housing projects, these schemes present the best opportunity. We aim to earn a revenue of ₹3,700 crore by August this year once we sell all plots in these schemes. We have decided the dates for the launch and interested persons can start applying for the plots,” stated a Yeida official. The authority plans to offer at least 27 plots in the medical devices park, along with around 400 residential plots in sectors 18, 20, and 24. The plots in the medical devices park will range from 1,000 square metres (sqm) to 2,100 sqm. Residential plots will vary in size, including options of 112 sqm, 120 sqm, 500 sqm, and 4,000 sqm for bungalows. Upon publication of the scheme online or in newspapers, interested parties will have a month to apply.
Yeida has amended the terms of the medical devices park scheme, stipulating that successful allottees cannot sell or transfer the plot to a new company within the first 10 years of allotment. This change aims to prevent property dealers from purchasing plots solely for resale at a premium. The group housing scheme will feature nine plots, each 25 acres in size, located in Sector 22D. These plots will be allocated through e-bidding. Additionally, the authority will allot commercial plots for the establishment of hotels, banquet halls, nursing homes, hospitals, and corporate offices.Under the utility plots scheme, Yeida has earmarked plots for old age homes, special child care centres, milk booths, and fuel stations, among other facilities.”Apart from these schemes, we are planning to sell ready-to-move flats through the portal ‘bookmyshow’ on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. The booking process is likely to start any day as the related procedures are nearing completion,” added the official.Yeida’s new plot schemes signify a robust push towards comprehensive urban development, catering to a wide array of needs and ensuring the availability of strategically located plots for various uses. This initiative is expected to significantly contribute to the region’s growth and development, providing ample opportunities for investment and infrastructure expansion.
