The Worli slum redevelopment project in Mumbai has come under sharp scrutiny after a local MLA raised concerns about alleged irregularities in the planning and implementation of the scheme. The project, which falls under the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) initiative, aims to transform informal settlements into formal housing for thousands of slum dwellers in the city.
