Western Railway has announced a special train service between Bandra Terminus and Velankanni. This initiative aims to accommodate the increased rush during the festive period, ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience for devotees.
The special train, designated as Train No. 09093/09094, will operate four trips, with the Bandra Terminus – Velankanni route scheduled for two departures: August 27 and September 6, 2024. This train will depart Bandra Terminus at 21:20 hours, arriving at Velankanni at 08:30 hours on the following Thursday and Sunday respectively. Conversely, Train No. 09094 will depart Velankanni at 22:00 hours on August 29 and September 8, 2024, arriving back at Bandra Terminus at 15:00 hours on the subsequent Saturday and Tuesday.
The train will make multiple stops along its route to accommodate passengers from various locations. Key halts include Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Lonavla, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Krishna, Raichur, Guntakal, Cuddapah, Renigunta, Katpadi, Vellore Cantt., Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Cuddalore Port, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Thiruvarur, and Nagappattinam.
The train will feature a variety of coach classes, including AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class, catering to a broad spectrum of passenger preferences.
