Stuart McConnachie’s distinguished career includes notable leadership roles, most recently with Mace (India), where he managed projects in Noida and Gurgaon for PMC services, overseeing mixed-use developments for IKEA Real Estate and Centres. With over 27 years of experience in the construction industry, McConnachie has a proven track record in project delivery across diverse sectors, involving detailed design, construction management, and technical execution. A member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE), and both a chartered engineer and chartered manager, McConnachie has held senior positions at Jacobs (UK & UAE), Samsung C&T (India), Laing O’Rourke (UK), and Mace (India). His career is marked by leading multinational teams, managing complex projects, and utilising modern construction methods and digital engineering techniques.
McConnachie’s global experience spans Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, including significant projects in the UK. His portfolio is diverse, featuring leadership roles in engineering teams at Jio World Mumbai, developing mixed-use spaces including a flagship W-Hotel, residential blocks, luxury retail areas, state-of-the-art film studios, high-specification theatres, world-class clubhouses, marine protection, island developments, and university and hospital constructions. This extensive experience highlights his capability to handle complex projects and deliver exceptional results across various sectors.
